The manager of celebrated Afrobeats musician- D-Black, Michael Dei has said that being in charge of Afrobeats artists’ music life is a very task job at times but also very fulfilling most times.
The manager of D-Black disclosed that every Afrobeats artiste prefers that his brand earns the respect of the public and also wants the manager to be sharp and efficient when managing them.
Speaking on the topic; Challenges Artistes Managers go through to help their musicians succeed in the music industry (Afrobeats Sector), Michael said most managers are not regarded as the persons behind the successful transition of artists from being unknown to popular artiste.
Michael revealed that not all concerts and corporate events pay for the services after they have performed.
According to Michael, managers incur debts when they take a gig that requires them to perform live.
He ended by saying that the music industry moves fast with new music getting released almost every day. People will enjoy the new music and new sounds of various artists have to offer.
